Yu Ji, from Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, opened the first dedicated Polaroid camera shop in the city and has put the camera in the frame of his success. Yu got his first Polaroid camera in 2011 and over the past seven years has invested 300,000 yuan ($43,685) to purchase more than 200 cameras in Japan and the United States. The oldest camera in his shop was made more than 60 years ago. Though Polaroid cameras bring a unique experience for consumers, in the era of the internet, social media and smartphones digital pictures are the mainstream.
