People: Collector finds art in a load of rubbish

Wan Jun is a collector with a twist and a penchant for what some might call rubbish. Born in the 1970s in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, he describes himself as a "garbage man". For more than a decade, he has collected in excess of 10,000 discarded vintage and antique objects from rubbish dumps and scrapheaps. "What symbolizes a city better than its so-called waste?" he asked. "Its history and culture lie in the old objects," Wan said.
