Sign language lawyer becomes social media star

When a lawyer posted a video in sign language about the danger of Ponzi schemes, his post went viral and hundreds of people with impaired hearing replied. They mentioned they had been victims of fraud and in some cases, domestic violence. Tang Shuai was simply trying to highlight possible legal services available to this sector when he posted the video on WeChat in February. After working as a sign language interpreter in court for six years, Tang, 34, passed the national judicial examination and became a lawyer in 2012.
