Third-party market cooperation welcome
China welcomes developed countries as well as international organizations to jointly explore third-party market cooperation so as to bring benefits to both Western nations and developing countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, an official said on Monday.
Some developed countries and multinational corporations have expressed interest in joining China in the BRI, which is not only beneficial for the local economy where projects are built but also for those participating in the projects, said Ning Jizhe, deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission, at a news briefing held by the State Council Information Office on Monday.
China has made positive efforts in cooperating in third-party markets in the past five years, and it has signed documents in third-party market cooperation with some international organizations and countries including France, Canada, Japan and Singapore, he said.
