A florist in Qingdao, Shandong province, is experiencing the bloom of romantic success. Four years ago, her husband celebrated Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day, which fell on Friday this year, not just by buying his wife flowers but helping his true love open a flower shop. Originally hailing from southern China, the couple initially just wanted to visit Qingdao but fell in love with the city and decided to buy a flower shop. "I love you," the husband said at the time, "and to prove it I bought you this flower shop so we don't have to pay extra money for flowers on Valentine's Day".
