China Daily | Updated: 2018-08-20 07:40

Qiantu Motor's debut model, the K50, hit the market on Aug 8, rolling off the production line at its Suzhou plant, Jiangsu province.

The pure electric city sports car is powered by two electric motors and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 200 km/h.

Its front and rear dual electric motors power an all-wheel drive system that produces up to 320 kilowatts and a range of more than 380 kilometers, adequate for daily use.

The K50 body is 4,634-millimeters long with a 2,650-mm wheelbase and is 2,069 mm in width. It features a rechargeable energy storage system and an active liquid cooling and heating system to ensure normal use in a temperature range between minus 30 C and 55 C with unaffected battery range. The roadster has a subsidized price of 686,800 yuan ($99,421.15) and comes in six color options: white, black, gold, silver, blue and red.
