The all-new Lexus ES sedan

Japanese premium brand Lexus launched its all-new ES sedan in China last week as an import.

The model retails at prices ranging from 279,000 yuan to 468,000 yuan ($40,854 to $68,530).

It offers three engine options: 2.0-liter four-cylinder and 2.5-liter four-cylinder, and 2.5-liter gas-electric hybrid.

The sedan produces a maximum power of 131 kW/5,700 rpm and boasts a top torque of 221 NM/3,600-5,200 rpm.

The gas-electric hybrid version only consumes 4.2 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

The all-new ES has a 2,870 mm wheelbase, 50 mm longer than the previous generation.

It will rival the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Jaguar XFL. The ES is Lexus' bestseller in China. The all-new ES has a sharp and still elegant design.
