Nations' ties have grown exponentially

President Xi Jinping arrived in Pretoria on Monday night for his third state visit to South Africa, "the rainbow nation", and to attend the 10th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg from Wednesday to Friday.

Before arriving in South Africa, Xi visited the United Arab Emirates, Senegal and Rwanda.

Among the activities planned for his state visit, Xi and his South African counterpart Cyril Ramaphosa will attend celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations.
