National food safety week begins

The Food Safety Commission Office of the State Council launched National Food Safety Week in Beijing on Tuesday, with the theme "Obeying laws, safe food makes a better life". Twelve State-level activities - a national food safety forum, for example - will be held during the week, which ends on July 29. The State Administration for Market Regulation said more than 29,000 cases involving food safety were resolved as of the end of June.
