VP visits to fortify Burkina Faso ties

OUAGADOUGOU, Burkina Faso - Visiting Vice-Premier Hu Chunhua met with Burkina Faso President Roch Marc Christian Kabore on Thursday.

Hu conveyed greetings and good wishes from President Xi Jinping to Kabore. Hu also conveyed to Kabore an invitation from Xi to participate in the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation scheduled for September.

Hu said that Xi pays great attention to the development of relations between China and Burkina Faso. This visit aims to deepen understandings and friendship, and lay a solid foundation for the comprehensive promotion of the friendly relations and cooperation in all areas, Hu said.
