BRICS summit in South Africa to focus on prosperity

South Africa, which took over the rotational chairmanship of the emerging economies grouping Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, is set to host the 10th BRICS summit from July 25 to 27. The summit, at the Sandton Convention Center, will focus on the challenges and opportunities that the BRICS members will face this year. President Xi Jinping will attend the event, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
