Ministry to brief media as US defense chief visits
The Ministry of Defense will hold a regular media briefing in Beijing on Thursday. The United States Secretary of Defense James Mattis has been on a three-day visit since Tuesday. It is the first visit to China by a US defense secretary since Chuck Hagel in 2014. Mattis will also visit the Republic of Korea and Japan.
