People: Farmer pilot remains passionate about air sports

Liu Yibing, 46, was born in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region. At 17, he was inspired after reading an aviation magazine to build an airworthy glider. He spent his spare time on research and study after finishing his fieldwork and successfully obtained a pilot's license through the national aviation department. He made his maiden flight in 1996. In 2010, Liu established an aero club in Helan, a county in Ningxia. Now, as a powered hang glider trainer, he wants to share his experience and love of flying.
