City home price data for last month to be released
On Friday, the National Bureau of Statistics will release last month's average new home prices for 79 major cities. In April, prices of new homes in top-tier cities edged down 0.4 percent year-on-year due to curbs to prevent overheating amid speculative investments, the bureau said.
