1.92m visitors go to parks over holiday
About 1.92 million people visited Beijing's 11 municipal parks and the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture during the recent May Day holiday. The top three most-visited parks were the Summer Palace (374,000), Beijing Zoo (293,000) and Beihai Park (223,000), according to the Beijing parks administration. Around 20 cultural events were held in parks across the city, and some will continue until the end of May.
