Meng, CFO, succeeds dad as Huawei vice-chair

Ren Zhengfei, founder of Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, a Chinese smartphone maker, stepped down as vice-chairman in late March. He was succeeded by Meng Wanzhou, chief financial officer. Incidentally, Meng is Ren's daughter. Huawei said Meng helped optimize financial management and internal control in recent years as the company went global. Sun Yafang, who has been the chairwoman for 19 years, also resigned last month. She was replaced by Liang Hua, former supervisory board chairman.
