Bayer launching new female health program

Firm joins hands with China Women's Development Foundation to provide gynecologic knowledge in rural areas

German industrial giant Bayer Group is joining hands with the China Women's Development Foundation to launch a program aimed at enhancing healthcare for women in China.

A sponsorship from Bayer will fund the project, which will educate Chinese women, especially in rural areas of the country, in gynecologic knowledge, by providing experts in gynecology and obstetrics. Those experts will deliver both online and offline lectures, covering 3,000 comprehensive hospitals across nine regions, including Beijing, Hebei, Shaanxi, Anhui, Sichuan, Guizhou, Chongqing, Yunnan and the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
