Party leaders named in five areas

Five provincial areas - Sichuan, Jiangxi, Henan, Qinghai and the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region - now have new Party secretaries, authorities said on Wednesday.

Three provinces of the areas got their new Party chiefs in a shuffle following the election of Wang Dongming, former Party secretary of Sichuan province, to vice-chair of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress.

Peng Qinghua, former Party secretary of Guangxi, replaced Wang in the Sichuan post, while Lu Xinshe, formerly Party secretary of Jiangxi, took over Peng's former post in Guangxi.
