China Daily | Updated: 2018-02-09 08:55

China's 15-year-old freestyle skier Zhang Kexin will be one of the youngest athletes to compete at the Pyeongchang Games.

Zhang is part of a quintet of fresh-faced competitors to be born in 2002, along with Kim Ha-nul of South Korea, Alina Zagitova of Russia, Jennie-Lee Burmansson of Sweden and Hiroaki Kunitake of Japan.

Last year at the Secret Garden resort in Hebei province, Harbin native Zhang became the second-youngest female to win a World Cup halfpipe gold medal at the age of 15 years and 200 days.
