Six teenagers shot in Cleveland
Six juveniles aged 12 to 16 were shot on Friday night in Cleveland, a major city in the midwestern US state of Ohio, and one of the six is confirmed dead, local TV reported on Saturday. Cleveland's Fox 8 reported the other five teens were hospitalized. "Kids crossed paths and shots were fired," Cleveland police Chief Calvin Williams told Fox 8. The tragedy was not believed to be gang-related, though the motive remained unclear, said Williams.

Nation remembers 2008 attacks
India on Sunday commemorated the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks which claimed the lives of more than 170 people. On Nov 26, 2008, terrorists carried out a series of coordinated shooting and bombing attacks across India's financial capital Mumbai, lasting four days. Apart from 170 deaths, over 300 people were injured in the mayhem. Indian President Ram Nath Kovind said: "On the ninth anniversary of the Mumbai terror attacks, we mourn with the families that lost their dear ones."

Migrants drown off nation's coast
A boat carrying more than 100 illegal immigrants on Saturday drowned off the Libyan western town of Garrabulli, killing 31 migrants, according to a local official. "The Coast Guard patrol spotted a rubber boat carrying more than 100 migrants, 24 miles north of Garrabulli. When the patrol arrived to the wrecked boat, dozens of bodies were scattered next to it," Libyan Coast Guard official Abu-Ajela Ammar said.

Nationalists facing wipe out in polls
The resurgence of Australian nationalist politics has been halted at a state election in coal-rich Queensland, with Pauline Hanson's One Nation party at risk of being almost completely wiped from the state assembly. Australia's center-left Labor party is leading in the tight race after three-quarters of votes were counted following Saturday's poll, while Hanson's party has yet to confirm victory in a single seat.

Two men probed on London panic
Two men sought by authorities after an altercation at a central London subway station that led to panic at the heart of the Oxford Street shopping district turned themselves in to police for questioning on Saturday, officials said. Two men aged 21 and 40 went to a police station voluntarily after a public appeal was launched, British Transport Police said. Both were interviewed by police. They haven't been identified or charged with any crime. Authorities believe the two men had some type of confrontation on the Oxford Circus subway platform on Friday afternoon, sparking panicky, false reports that guns had been fired.
