China's Wang Jianjiahe underlined her status as an emerging star when the 15-year-old eclipsed her own world junior record by winning Saturday's 800m freestyle in 8:12.30 on the second day of the FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup at the Water Cube in Beijing.
Teammate Hou Yawen took the silver in 8:15.04.
Wang set the previous mark of 8:15.35 last month in Doha.
