'Publicize spirit of Party congress'

Senior Chinese leader Wang Huning said on Wednesday that efforts should be made to publicize the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to better unite the public.

Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 19th CPC Central Committee, made the remark at a meeting on publicizing the spirit of the congress, which concluded in Beijing last week.

Wang, also a member of the CPC Central Committee Secretariat, said publicity teams should explain clearly the theme of the congress, the content of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the historic changes that have taken place since the 18th CPC National Congress five years ago.
