Zhu crowned Cup champ

OTTAWA - Zhu Yuling won an all-Chinese final at the women's table tennis World Cup in suburban Toronto on Sunday, beating Liu Shiwen in seven sets.

Zhu, who had swept Cheng I-Ching of Chinese Taipei 4-0 in the semifinals, overcame a poor start to win 11-13, 8-11, 11-7, 11-8, 10-12, 11-9, 12-10.

Liu built a quick 2-0 lead, but Zhu claimed the next two sets to get back on level terms. Former world No 1 Liu regained the lead before Zhu tied it again in the sixth.
