WELLINGTON, New Zealand - Two big shots on Sunday enabled China's Lin Yuxin to win the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship - and a spot in two of golf's biggest tournaments.
Tied for the lead with two holes to play, Lin unleashed a huge drive to reach the green on the 361-yard 17th hole at Royal Wellington Golf Club, setting up a tap-in birdie.
