Project aids cross-border drug abuse cooperation

The China-US meeting on anti-drug cooperation will be held in Beijing on Monday and Tuesday to look into projects for deepening cooperation in the fight against drug abuse, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The government has actively cooperated with the United States within the framework of Chinese law and the UN Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances. At the 60th session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs in March, China agreed to add two fentanyl precursors, ANPP and NPP, to a list of controlled substances.
