Tax revenue up in first nine months
China's tax revenue rose 10.6 percent to 9.92 trillion yuan ($1.5 trillion) in the first three quarters of this year, official data showed on Friday. The growth was higher than the 8.9 percent recorded in the first half of the year, according to figures from the State Administration of Taxation. The authority attributed the higher tax revenue to steady and sound economic growth during the period thanks to the effects of the country's macroeconomic policies.
