Zverev skips Milan for London

Germany's Alexander Zverev will miss the inaugural ATP Next Gen Finals in Milan next month to concentrate on his debut in the ATP Tour Finals in London the following week.

Zverev's stunning year, during which he briefly rose to No 4 in the rankings, qualified the 20-year-old for both season-enders, so something had to give.

"I have consulted with my team and in order to best prepare for London, we have made the decision that it is best not to play the week before in Milan," Zverev said.
