Vice-premier to attend funeral for Thai king
Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli will visit Thailand from Wednesday to Friday as President Xi Jinping's special envoy to attend the funeral of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The funeral will begin on Wednesday, with the king's body being cremated on Thursday, followed by three days of mourning. The king died on Oct 13 last year after reigning for more than 66 years. He was 88.
