ROK expects peace dialogue with DPRK

The Republic of Korea said on Sunday that it was closely cooperating with the United States to keep communication channels open with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Presidential spokesman Park Soo-hyun said the government has emphasized the peaceful resolution through dialogue of the DPRK issues whenever opportunities were given, according to local media reports. He said Seoul also expressed its position that dialogue could be of various types, including bilateral and multilateral.
