Biz: Henan firm winning market for key sari yarn in India

Xinxiang Chemical Fiber Co in Henan province revealed that its viscose filament, a raw material for manufacturing saris, grabbed a 52 percent market share in India last year. Chuai Lirong, in charge of the company's export business, said 3,300 metric tons of viscose filament yarn was sold to two Indian companies for $20.33 million last year. The sari is a female garment typically wrapped around the waist with one end draped over the shoulder.
