Luo Guanhong named as Ford China's new CEO
Ford's China arm has named Luo Guanhong as its new CEO late last month. The company said it hoped Luo would help expand the market in China for its electric cars and localize its luxury brand Lincoln. Before joining Ford, Luo was the president and CEO of Key Safety System, an automobile ancillaries firm, for 10 years, helping in its global expansion and significant growth in China. That success marked him out as an ideal candidate for the Ford China post, the company said. Its sales in China in the first half of this year dropped 7 percent year-on-year.
