Spieth predicts end to putter sputter

China Daily | Updated: 2017-08-04 09:16

AKRON, Ohio - Jordan Spieth said on Wednesday that he won the British Open without his best putting, but predicted his stroke will return to form in time for next week's PGA Championship.

Spieth will attempt to complete the career grand slam at the year's final major at Quail Hollow. Before that, however, is the WGC Bridgestone Invitational, starting here on Thursday.

The Texan has won 11 times on the PGA Tour, including three majors, but does not have a World Golf Championships title on his resume, something he can rectify at Firestone Country Club in Akron.
