Haier's Thailand manufacturing facility serves as an important production center for the Chinese home appliance giant to explore markets in Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Middle East.

Haier acquired the facility, located in Prachinburi, from Japan's Sanyo Electric in 2007 as part of the company's expansion strategy.
