Acting governor for province appointed

Yuan Jiajun was appointed vice-governor and acting governor of Zhejiang province on Friday. The decision was announced at a session of the standing committee of the provincial people's congress, which also accepted the resignation of outgoing governor Che Jun. Yuan, born in 1962, has worked in China's aerospace industry and was chief commander of the Shenzhou spacecraft system, according to the standing committee.
