Derby day of reckoning for Pep and Jose

LONDON - Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho can score a seismic victory over his old foe Pep Guardiola when his side visits misfiring Manchester City on Thursday.

Former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss Guardiola oversaw a 2-1 win when the pair resumed hostilities in September as the City boss enjoyed a much better start at his new club than Mourinho at United.

But having been condemned to the first trophy-less season of his coaching career by Sunday's FA Cup semifinal loss to Arsenal, Guardiola will see United leapfrog City into the top four if the visitor prevails at Etihad Stadium.
