Carlo wants to go straight to video

China Daily | Updated: 2017-04-20 07:08

MADRID - Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti urged UEFA to swiftly introduce video technology after the Germans lost a controversial Champions League quarterfinal second leg to Real Madrid in extra time.

Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a hat-trick to become the first player to score 100 Champions League goals as holder Madrid completed a 4-2 win on Tuesday, going through 6-3 on aggregate.

However, the Portuguese's second and third goals were offside, while visitor Bayern had Arturo Vidal contentiously sent off in the 85th minute.
