CBRC head Guo now part of PBOC monetary panel

The State Council, China's cabinet, has appointed Guo Shuqing, the head of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, to the monetary policy committee of the People's Bank of China, the country's central bank. The State Council also appointed Ding Xuedong, deputy secretary-general of the cabinet, to the committee. Ding replaces Xiao Jie, the finance minister.
