Global experts gather at Party forum

Political parties should play the leading role in global economic governance and nurture and mobilize the professionals to facilitate sound and sustainable growth in their countries, a senior Communist Party of China official said on Friday in Chongqing.

The CPC in Dialogue with the World 2016, an annual event since 2014 for exchanging ideas with the foreign parties, opened in Chongqing on Thursday and will end on Saturday.

To further promote the achievements made at the G20 Summit in Hangzhou in September, the theme for this year's meeting is "Innovation in Global Economic Governance: Initiatives and Actions of Political Parties."
