Passengers still stranded at Guangzhou train station

'I can do nothing except stay here to wait, and the railway station square is chaotic,' says traveler

Around 50,000 passengers remained stranded at the Guangzhou Railway Station and nearby areas as of Tuesday night because of delayed trains due to heavy snowfall in northern parts of the country.

The station sent more than 175,000 passengers home on Tuesday, a record according to the Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corp.
