More peacekeeping aid set for Africa

China will send helicopter squad to join efforts, Xi tells summit

A stable system for international peacekeeping is required and China will increase aid to Africa for such operations, President Xi Jinping told a United Nations peacekeeping summit on the last day of his visit to the United States.

He said that China has taken part in peacekeeping operations for 25 years and has been a top contributor of troops and funds.
