Suicide bombing in mosque kills 25

A suicide bomber struck a mosque in Yemen's capital on Thursday in an attack targeting Shiite worshippers that killed at least 25 people and wounded dozens during holiday prayers, medics and witnesses said. Islamic State extremists later claimed responsibility for the attack. Sanaa has been shaken by a string of bombings in recent months targeting Shiites. Thursday's blast ripped through the Balili mosque where Huthi Shiite rebels who control Sanaa go to pray, according to witnesses.
