100 victimized by employment hoax

More than 100 people appear to have been become victims of a hoax, after turning up for a job that did not exist. Regional newspaper Smalandsposten wrote on Monday that the would-be workers had been told during job interviews that they would be hired by a company linked to well-known Swedish transport and logistics company Alwex in the city of Vaxjo. Police are now investigating the suspected deception.
