New data has revealed that just 55 per cent of e-book readers completed Donna Tartt's The Goldfinch

E-bookseller Kobo has released new data that reveals which books their British customers were most and least likely to complete in 2014. And it is not good news for Pulitzer Prize-winning author Donna Tartt.

Tartt's third novel, The Goldfinch, which was released in 2013 and stretches to 880 pages, was completed by just 44.4 per cent of British readers who downloaded it via Kobo, the Toronto-based company that boasts one of the world's largest catalogues of e-books.
