"The Chinese government has long been paying attention to improving the proportion of the service trade in the national economy. Industrial policies have given encouragement to the service industry and brought about a change in the market. Along with deepened reforms in corporate governance and capital structure, climbing up the value chain and building an upgraded manufacturing industry will offer IT firms enormous space for growth. Rather than rely on government subsidies, IT service providers need to strengthen industrial cooperation, study business models and seek more expansion."

Zhou Ming, executive vice-president of the China Council for International Investment Promotion

"China's IT service industry is expected to maintain momentum, driven by growing market demand and favorable industrial policies. In particular the market for business services in the sector, including consulting and outsourcing, is projected to have an average annual growth of around 20 percent in the next five years. The ChinaSourcing Summit has been widely acclaimed for its considerate services and solid contribution to the industry. I hope the annual event will continue to bring in international expertise and enlighten Chinese companies about tech development trends, service models and advanced ideas."
