Vietnam awaits update on information

Vietnamese authorities said on Thursday that they had not yet received new information about the missing Malaysian aircraft after five days of intensive search operations.

"We are still putting in great effort to search for the missing airliner," Doan Huu Gia, the deputy general director of Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corp, said at a news conference on Thursday.
