Government and banks see prosperity in sector

With a major objective to build a regional wealth management hub, ongoing financial reform in Qingdao will bring "golden opportunities" to the coastal city, said local officials and experts.

A plan to build a State-level pilot zone for wealth management reform in Qingdao, Shandong province was approved by the State Council on Feb 10. It was jointly drafted by the central bank and other 10 ministerial-level institutions.
