Classical pieces

Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the oldest European chamber orchestra, is coming to Beijing to perform classical pieces, including Bach's The Art of Fugue, Double Violin Concerto in D Minor, Mozart's Serenade in G Major and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings in C Major. Founded by Karl Munchinger in 1945, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra quickly established a reputation for its Bach interpretations. The orchestra will also perform Chinese composer Chen Qigang's Zouxikou, which the orchestra played in 2003 in Shanghai.
