More efforts to improve trust

Vice-Premier Li Keqiang last week stressed efforts to create a favorable environment to improve public trust of charitable undertakings. He made the remarks while meeting winners of the China Charity Award, the top Chinese prize in the area, in Zhongnanhai, the seat of the central government.

Governments at various levels should implement and improve preferential policies prescribed for charity donors, including taxation reduction, promote the spirit behind charitable actions and actively cultivate charity groups, Li said.
