Tetra Pak gives more to poor mums' project
International food processing and package company Tetra Pak donated 300,000 yuan ($47,479) to a maternal and infant health project. The company has now given more than 851,000 yuan to the charity. The company was recognized by the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, which launched the project, for its 10-year support. All of the donations came from employees of the Sweden-based company. They had helped 1,412 poverty-stricken pregnant and young mothers in Central and West China by the end of last year.
