Religious organizations' philanthropy encouraged

China is likely to encourage religious groups to perform charitable activities, chinanews.com said.

The government will encourage and support religious groups to engage in philanthropy following the principles of "active support, equal treatment and lawful administration", according to a joint-notice issued by the State Administration for Religious Affairs and five other departments.
